This has been discussed many times. I'd love to have this fixed but I
don't think that the above patch does it:
Cannot export signgam: symbol not defined
Cannot export signgam: symbol not defined
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I think that we probably have to export the __signgam function, don't
we?
