Isn't that just asking the users to send you support requests?  There  
should be no method to change the root device.  Too much depends on  
the value of / being sane and the only sanity is the parent directory  
of the directory containing the dll being root.  There have been zero  
complaints from users wanting/needing to change where / is mounted.
